All of a sudden, while the novo was laying flat, it got seriously hot & started releasing vape at an alarming rate. I cleaned both the pod & the interior & fully recharged the unit. Now, it does not work at all. I'm especially upset because I just placed an order this afternoon for replacement pods. If I was to buy a new unit I would upgrade, but because I ordered the replacement pods (and they have already shipped) I'm kinda stuck. Any ideas on how to get it working?

It happened to me at one point as well. The fluid had gotten down into the hole beneath the pod, and clogged it up. I've been using isopropyl alcohol, and a que-tip to clean it every once and a while now, and it seems to have cured the issue.

Ceramic 1.4 novo 2 pods are what you want but I should not be answering this... I would buy a concentrate vape or dab pen and just use the devices sold on this site for salt nic and e juice, enjoy

No, this device does not use concentrates. DashVapes does not sell herbal/concentrate devices. I would look out for the Yocan Evolve 2.0, it runs Ceramic and cotton, ceramic for concentrates, cotton for e-juice.

I bought the 1.2 pods, and i've found no difference (personally) from the ones that come in with the Novo. My best guess is that its the 1.2. It would also make sense because its the kind of "mid-range" and give a feel of what one might want to do. Either higher or lower.

It's either the 1.2 or 1.5 ohm pods. Doesn't say anywhere on the box or in the user manual, so I'm not too sure.

Any suggestions on the liquid to use? Tried different salt nics and pods leak and spit after the first refill. Another issue is that after 2 refills the liquid turns almost black so I go through pods very fast. Trying to use transparent liquids, doesn’t help. What am I doing wrong?

As much as I like the Novo, I find it to be high maintenance, but if your alright with it, and can be quite effective, easy to carry and probably the cheapest way to vape. I'd suggest watching some tutorials on re-wicking the pods because I get the same problem, and I'd rather not spend 10$ a week for pods. Get the non-mesh variant and you can use any organic cotton. Extra tip, if your Novo starts hissing, open it up, unscrew the circuit, and pull it out along with the battery. Then clean the mesh of the magnet on the back of the circuit with a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol, and voila, you Novo is good as new, just don't lose those two screws for the circuit board.

It depends on you I guess. I had king kustard for my juice and I used most of it and the flavor comes and goes for me but my friend doesn't get the flavour long. The flavour stopped for me personally about 6 refills in.

Bonjour, il n'y a pas de temps fixe, vous devriez le facturer. Lorsqu'il est branché, le voyant devient rouge et s'éteint une fois qu'il est complètement chargé. Le mien prend généralement environ une heure à partir du moment où il est complètement mort. Je n’ai pas trouvé d’instructions en français mais j’espère que cela aide :). Aussi pardonner ma grammeuse, im en utilisant Google Translate.

Hello, there is no set time you should charge it for. When plugged in the light will turn red and turn off once it is fully charged. Mine usually takes around an hour from when it is completely dead. I havent been able to find any instuctions in french but i hope this helps :). Also pardon my grammer, im using google translate.

Is there any issue with brining the novo on a flight? Are there any precautions I should take such as emptying the pods? I was planning on taking it my suitcase is it legal to bring the novo across boarders in a check in bag?

I recently traveled with my vape out of country. From my experiences I had to take it with me in my carry on bag ONLY - They made me take it out of my checked baggage. You also cannot carry more than 100mL of liquid with you. Emptying the pod is a good idea as well.

We want nothing more than for our customers to feel they receive quality products and high quality service. After the receipt of your order, we offer a 14-day return policy on any DOA (dead on arrival) or unused items, factory sealed in the manufacturer's original packaging.

Please inspect and test all products upon receipt, the 14-day return window begins regardless of whether the products were opened or not.

Any manufacturer defects will be solved by our 30-day warranty (or 90-day warranty where applicable).

Unfortunately consumables are always a final sale (e-juice, coils, tanks, accesories, drip tips, replacement parts, rebuildable supplies, etc).
Our 30-day warranty begins the day the items are delivered. Customer assumes all cost in shipping items back to DashVapes, and DashVapes assume all cost in shipping the item back to the customer. Shipping cost incurrected is non-refundable/creditable.

What is not covered by our warranty?
  • E-liquids, Atomizers, Tanks, Rebuildable products, batteries, chargers, mechanical mods, drip tips, coils or any other accessories on the device itself are NOT covered.
  • Failure or damage caused due to improper use or unauthorized repair
  • Failure or damage as a result of excessive force such as dropping or abuse
  • Failure or damage as a result of usage outside of recommended operating instructions. (See usage manual for operating instructions)
  • Damage or failure caused by improper use. This includes water damage, juice spillage, and fire damage.
  • Leaky tanks are not covered under warranty
  • Loss or damage due to missing components
  • Stripped or damaged threads, crooked 510 connection (Atomizer not sitting flush)
  • Damage to the finish (cosmetic issues), or scratches from a brushed finish.
  • Rattling or sticky buttons
  • Modifying a product in any way, automatically voids the warranty.
  • Defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the product.
  • Items outside of our warranty period

What is covered by our Warranty?
  • LED screen issues
  • Charging port issues
  • Battery issues (turning off when firing, etc)
  • Unit auto firing.
  • Chip malfunctions

Some products will have minor flaws and that is to be expected during manufacturing. We can only accept a return or exchange if an item is defective (malfunctioning).

Extended Warranty
DashVapes offers an extended 90-day warranty on some items (specifically starter kits and mods). The 90-day extended warranty extends your existing 30-day warranty that comes with the purchase to 90 days. The price for the extended warranty is always $5.00.

You can add the Extended Warranty to your purchase when you add an item to your shopping cart.

You may purchase the additional warranty on your device within 7 days of your purchase.

The extended warranty prolongs your warranty period from 30 to 90 days. It does not alter what is covered by the warranty.
Restocking Fee
Returns / exchanges will incur a 10% Restocking fee on items. This includes packages not signed for during delivery and returned to us by the shipping courier. We can only accept returns on manufacturer sealed items. If an item does not come sealed originally, we are unable to take a return on it. Returns and exchanges are made in the form of Store Credit, and added to your account in the form of Points. Please be aware, if items are returned incomplete or not in the same condition they were shipped to you in, no Credit will be given and the package will be returned to you at your expense.
Underage Purchases
Every package that we ship utilizes Canada Post's Age Verification service. This means that in order for Canada Post to hand over the package, you must verify that you are of legal smoking age in your province or state. (If you are in Canada and choose UPS, UPS requires you to be 19 regardless of where you order from). If Canada Post cannot verify your age, they will ship the items back to us. Once the items return, final sale items (as outlined below) are non-refundable. Any items that are eligible for a refund will be done so minus a FIFTY PERCENT (50%) restocking fee, as well as any shipping charges incurred for shipping the items to you, and for Canada Post to ship them back to us. This is absolutely non-negotiable. If you are underage, please do not order items, you will lose money doing so.

Incorrectly received items must be returned to us. We provide you with a prepaid return label via email to send back the product(s) free of charge. Product Exchanges
Items that are DOA (Dead on Arrival) or still under warranty, are eligible for an exchange only. We will exchange the item with the exact same item, in the exact same colour. Exceptions may apply if the item is no longer being actively stocked.

We can not offer store credit or refunds on warranty exchanges.
Refunds & Store Credit
We are unable to issue refunds to any form of payment other than the original credit card used to make your purchase.

We are unable to issue a refund via Interac E-Transfer, Cash, Debit Card or Cheque. If you purchased using Interac E-Transfer, Debit Card, Cash or Cheque, you will receive store credit.

We issue refunds within 7 business days after receipt and inspection of returned merchandise. You will receive an email notification confirming your refund.

Depending on your card-issuing bank, please allow up to one billing cycle for a refund to appear on your statement.

Where applicable, we issue store credit in the form of reward points for the value of the returned product(s) after receipt and inspection of returned merchandise.

At DashVapes we offer a couple of shipping options to our customers. The shipping method you choose does not affect how quickly your orders get placed or processed. We try to ship all In-stock orders that get placed prior to 1:00 PM EST the same day. In some situations though it may take up to 3 days to process and ship your order. Our packages are packaged discreetly for your security. Backordered items will ship as soon as they become in stock.

We offer various Canada Post, and UPS shipping options all over the world. Shipping rates are calculated on the checkout page. A delivery estimate will be shown on the checkout page.
Proof of Age Required
We utilize Canada Post's Proof of Age (18+, 19+ or 21+ depending on your province or state) option on every single package, no exceptions.

Because we utilize this option for all shipments, signature will be obtained upon delivery of all shipments. If you are not home when delivery is attempted, the package will be left at your nearest post office, where you will have to show Proof of Age to sign and receive the package.

Any fees associated with packages that are Returned to Sender because Proof of Age was not able to be determined, will NOT receive a refund.

We can not remove this option, even if you have already been verified to be of age. - Every package leaving our facilities will require to be age verified, in accordance with Canadian law. only the person named in the "Shipping" fields can pick up the package. Same-Day Delivery
DashVapes offers same-day delivery to a limited amount of postal zones surrounding some of the DashVapes retail locations.

We've partnered with an established same-day courier to roll out this service in York Region, Toronto Region, Peel Region and Durham Region.

You must place your order before 1:30PM, be in an eligible delivery zone, and choose Same Day Delivery as your shipping option. The service costs $8.00 + tax.

Deliveries take place every day except for Sundays, and holidays. Deliveries will arrive to you between 5:30 PM - 11:00 PM.

Please note we can only do same-day delivery to residential address only

You will receive an SMS stating your order is on the way about 30 minutes before your delivery.
Free Shipping
DashVapes offers free shipping on the following orders:

  • Orders over C$35 within Canada
  • Orders over C$75 within the United States
  • Orders over C$100 everywhere else in the world

Overstock items do not count towards the free shipping minimum. We usually utilize Canada Post Expedited shipping option for free shipping in Canada, Canada Post Tracked Packet for free shipping the U.S.A, and UPS or Canada Post Air Shipping for all international destinations (some international destinations may be untracked). There is no insurance added to packages shipped for free.

Overstock items are NOT counted towards the free shipping minimum.

We reserve the right to cancel orders we deem unreasonable to ship for free. (Examples of this are extremely heavy or large and awkward products, etc). We will give you the option to pay for shipping on these items.

Orders shipping for free must ship from the same distribution center. If all of the items on your order are not in stock at one distribution center and must be shipped form multiple locations, we will contact you to either change the item or to pay additional shipping charges.

In the event your item is not succesfully delivered due to an issue that we deem to be your fault (Wrong address, Failure to pick up, Underage), we will deduct the shipping fees from the initial shipment (even if it was free for you), and the fees for the return shipment that we were charged by the carrier from any potential refund you may be eligible to.

Orders shipped to outside of Canada may be subject to import duties, taxes, and / or brokerage fees. We cannot control this.
Order Processing
We process all in-stock orders 7 days a week (excluding Canadian holidays).

Please note, if you receive a tracking number during a weekend or major holiday, your order is prepared for shipment, but it is not handed off to a shipping carrier until the following business day.

We reserve the right to additional processing time if any questions or concerns regarding your order arise. We always do our best to get in touch with you via phone or email only when absolutely necessary. Please make sure you provide us with current contact information during checkout.

Any foreseen order processing delays are visibly announced directly on the affected product's page. If we are experiencing a larger than normal order volume an announcement is made via a site-wide notice.

Typically, In-stock orders placed before 1:00 PM EST will go out the same day. (Delivery will depend on the carrier). CANPAR does an earlier pick up, and the same day cut off for CANPAR is 10AM.
Carrier Restrictions
Canada Post do not deliver packages on Saturday or Sunday, or major Canadian holidays.

We only ship using Canada Post and UPS, we are unable to use FedEX, DHL or any other shipping carrier.
Tracking numbers are automatically generated when we print your shipping label during order processing. An email containing the tracking number with the subject "Your order has shipped!" is then sent to the email address you provided during checkout.

Every package shipped by DashVapes is insured up to $100.00 on tracked packages only. If your order is larger than $100, and you'd like to add full insurance coverage to your package, you can do so at the checkout page. In the event that Canada Post or UPS lose a package, we will only credit orders up to $100.00 if they do not have full insurance.

US and International non-tracked items do not have insurance, and will not be replaced in the event of loss.
Orders outside of Canada
DashVapes offers multiple shipping options at various price points when shipping outside of Canada, or the United States.

UPS offers the most reliable, and quickest options. You can find the shipping rates on the checkout page after filling out your delivery address.

Order Changes & Cancellations
Order changes or cancellations are possible. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate any changes as long as the order has not yet been shipped. Once an order has shipped, you must return the package to us prior to receiving a refund, shipping fees are not refundable.

Electronic Cigarette liquid (or ejuice) can only be canceled if the order has not yet been created. Since we typically mix to order, We are unable to cancel / refund / credit for juice that is already created, even if it is still within our facilities.
