I have 59mg/50ml nic salts and bought the .8 ohm mesh pods. The other day I bought the 1.2 with the horizontal cotton piece. The 1.2 just tastes like burnt cotton or it spits a lot of juice and makes me feel sick. What am I doing wrong?

Stick with mesh for the nic salts I use the .8 ohm for 30mg and it’s quite smooth. Normal coils and nic salts really hurt my throat. I was told not to sub ohm nic salts but I think this is false Information as I also use a .6 nord mesh coil and get very smooth vapor even up to the 50mg nic salts. Good luck!

The mesh pods are great for clouds and longer lasting coils-- but aren't the best for flavour. Try the two other coils available, I don't notice a difference between either, but they're both better in flavour distribution.

The air passage is starting to clog up. As long as the air flow remains okay, and the taste doesn't change, you can continue using that pod. It is a good indication that it will need changing soon though.

Give the outside of the pod and the chamber it sits in in the Nova a good wipe. This usually happens when ejuice has leaked out and is touching the contacts.

Ya they nice bit annoying to fill as there is a coil now that runs vertical in the chamber so you have to tip it around to get all the air out when filling. Much stronger than the 1.2 i find it kills my batt a bit faster too ? Can go with lower nic im down to 10mg salts but was too strong for me with the .8 took some getting used to need less puffa to get the fix.

Bit better flav more airflow. Meant for reg nic or low nic salts. Im on 10mg and got the .8 and it was hitting too hard for me took a couple days to get used to i think ill stick with the 1.2 unless i go with like an 8mg nic salt but thats my preference maybe diff for you.

Did not last long enough as I expected
Tried out the Smok Novo Mesh Coil. The first coil was great, intense flavor and smooth hit, but it started loosing flavor by the 3rd day. I tough it was just me so I had a friend try it out and he said it actually tasted that it's starting to tasted burnt. I tried the second coil and was again great at first but similar to the first one, by the 3rd day, I felt the flavor was not as intense. I made sure my battery was always fully charged but still can't get the same intense taste I get on it's first day. I went back to the original Smok Novo coil for now that came with the package and has been lasting me 1 week as expected.

Pods can burn out on the first hit
I've been using the Novo for over a year and I have found that on average in a pack of 3, one of the pods might burn out on the first hit after filling it for the first time. It seems like the coil sometimes doesn't absorb the liquid, even if you let it sit for 24 hours. There's a couple of things I've tried that seem to prevent it: 1. use a thinner juice - one with a 50/50 ratio for example. 2. Dry hit the pod until a noticeable amount of the liquid has been absorbed into the coil. For example, if you fill it right up , dry hit it until it looks like there's enough space to add more liquid in the pod. If you dry hit it with the stopper out it seems to work even better, maybe because air can flow into the pod. I still like the system because it is so portable and simple.

We want nothing more than for our customers to feel they receive quality products and high quality service. After the receipt of your order, we offer a 14-day return policy on any DOA (dead on arrival) or unused items, factory sealed in the manufacturer's original packaging.

Please inspect and test all products upon receipt, the 14-day return window begins regardless of whether the products were opened or not.

Any manufacturer defects will be solved by our 30-day warranty (or 90-day warranty where applicable).

Unfortunately consumables are always a final sale (e-juice, coils, tanks, accesories, drip tips, replacement parts, rebuildable supplies, etc).
Our 30-day warranty begins the day the items are delivered. Customer assumes all cost in shipping items back to DashVapes, and DashVapes assume all cost in shipping the item back to the customer. Shipping cost incurrected is non-refundable/creditable.

What is not covered by our warranty?
  • E-liquids, Atomizers, Tanks, Rebuildable products, batteries, chargers, mechanical mods, drip tips, coils or any other accessories on the device itself are NOT covered.
  • Failure or damage caused due to improper use or unauthorized repair
  • Failure or damage as a result of excessive force such as dropping or abuse
  • Failure or damage as a result of usage outside of recommended operating instructions. (See usage manual for operating instructions)
  • Damage or failure caused by improper use. This includes water damage, juice spillage, and fire damage.
  • Leaky tanks are not covered under warranty
  • Loss or damage due to missing components
  • Stripped or damaged threads, crooked 510 connection (Atomizer not sitting flush)
  • Damage to the finish (cosmetic issues), or scratches from a brushed finish.
  • Rattling or sticky buttons
  • Modifying a product in any way, automatically voids the warranty.
  • Defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the product.
  • Items outside of our warranty period

What is covered by our Warranty?
  • LED screen issues
  • Charging port issues
  • Battery issues (turning off when firing, etc)
  • Unit auto firing.
  • Chip malfunctions

Some products will have minor flaws and that is to be expected during manufacturing. We can only accept a return or exchange if an item is defective (malfunctioning).

Extended Warranty
DashVapes offers an extended 90-day warranty on some items (specifically starter kits and mods). The 90-day extended warranty extends your existing 30-day warranty that comes with the purchase to 90 days. The price for the extended warranty is always $5.00.

You can add the Extended Warranty to your purchase when you add an item to your shopping cart.

You may purchase the additional warranty on your device within 7 days of your purchase.

The extended warranty prolongs your warranty period from 30 to 90 days. It does not alter what is covered by the warranty.
Restocking Fee
Returns / exchanges will incur a 10% Restocking fee on items. This includes packages not signed for during delivery and returned to us by the shipping courier. We can only accept returns on manufacturer sealed items. If an item does not come sealed originally, we are unable to take a return on it. Returns and exchanges are made in the form of Store Credit, and added to your account in the form of Points. Please be aware, if items are returned incomplete or not in the same condition they were shipped to you in, no Credit will be given and the package will be returned to you at your expense.
Underage Purchases
Every package that we ship utilizes Canada Post's Age Verification service. This means that in order for Canada Post to hand over the package, you must verify that you are of legal smoking age in your province or state. (If you are in Canada and choose UPS, UPS requires you to be 19 regardless of where you order from). If Canada Post cannot verify your age, they will ship the items back to us. Once the items return, final sale items (as outlined below) are non-refundable. Any items that are eligible for a refund will be done so minus a FIFTY PERCENT (50%) restocking fee, as well as any shipping charges incurred for shipping the items to you, and for Canada Post to ship them back to us. This is absolutely non-negotiable. If you are underage, please do not order items, you will lose money doing so.

Refunds & Store Credit

At DashVapes we offer a couple of shipping options to our customers. The shipping method you choose does not affect how quickly your orders get placed or processed. We try to ship all In-stock orders that get placed prior to 1:00 PM EST the same day. In some situations though it may take up to 3 days to process and ship your order. Our packages are packaged discreetly for your security. Backordered items will ship as soon as they become in stock.

We offer various Canada Post, and UPS shipping options all over the world. Shipping rates are calculated on the checkout page. A delivery estimate will be shown on the checkout page.
Proof of Age Required
We utilize Canada Post's Proof of Age (18+, 19+ or 21+ depending on your province or state) option on every single package, no exceptions.

Because we utilize this option for all shipments, signature will be obtained upon delivery of all shipments. If you are not home when delivery is attempted, the package will be left at your nearest post office, where you will have to show Proof of Age to sign and receive the package.

Any fees associated with packages that are Returned to Sender because Proof of Age was not able to be determined, will NOT receive a refund.

We can not remove this option, even if you have already been verified to be of age. - Every package leaving our facilities will require to be age verified, in accordance with Canadian law. only the person named in the "Shipping" fields can pick up the package. Canada Post will NOT release the package to anyone else
Free Shipping
We offer free same day shipping (not delivery) on all orders in Canada and USA when you purchase C$35 or more in non-overstock products, and free shipping every where else in the world when you spend C$100 or more in non-overstock products. We usually utilize Canada Post Expedited shipping option for free shipping in Canada, UPS Standard for free shipping the U.S.A, and UPS or Canada Post Air Shipping for all international destinations (some international destinations may be untracked). There is no insurance added to packages shipped for free.

Overstock items are NOT counted towards the free shipping minimum.

We reserve the right to cancel orders we deem unreasonable to ship for free. (Examples of this are extremely heavy or large and awkward products, etc). We will give you the option to pay for shipping on these items.

Orders shipping for free must ship from the same distribution center. If all of the items on your order are not in stock at one distribution center and must be shipped form multiple locations, we will contact you to either change the item or to pay additional shipping charges.

In the event your item is not succesfully delivered due to an issue that we deem to be your fault (Wrong address, Failure to pick up, Underage), we will deduct the shipping fees from the initial shipment (even if it was free for you), and the fees for the return shipment that we were charged by the carrier from any potential refund you may be eligible to.

Orders shipped to outside of Canada may be subject to import duties, taxes, and / or brokerage fees. We cannot control this.
Order Processing
We process all in-stock orders 7 days a week (excluding Canadian holidays).

Please note, if you receive a tracking number during a weekend or major holiday, your order is prepared for shipment, but it is not handed off to a shipping carrier until the following business day.

We reserve the right to additional processing time if any questions or concerns regarding your order arise. We always do our best to get in touch with you via phone or email only when absolutely necessary. Please make sure you provide us with current contact information during checkout.

Any foreseen order processing delays are visibly announced directly on the affected product's page. If we are experiencing a larger than normal order volume an announcement is made via a site-wide notice.
