Hey! Pod life varies depending on the type of e-juice, how often you vape, or even if you dry hit the pod. Typically, Caliburn pods last 1-2 weeks.

Hello, I would like to know how it looks with caliburn support and distribution outside US region in regards to recent ban in US. Is the company going to continue with this product in EU? Ok to buy it or I risk lack of pods and support soon?

Hello, my caliburn pod always get stuck especially after second TOP-up. I have to pull harder or press the draw activation button to Vape. Soon after, I will experience a lot of spit back, the pod will leak and I have to replace it with a new pod. Has anyone experience this before? Or is it that i’m Using a e juice that is not suitable for caliburn? I’m using 0mg freebase 50pg/50vg. I’ve read about people refilling the pod for more than 5 times at least but it doesn’t seem to be the case for me. Tried 3pods and only manage to get to second refill at best and it’s gone. Thanks.

I have had similar happen, you can buy a new pack of pods OR if the draw gets harder I pull the pod out and ensure all bubbles are gone and the cotton is thoroughly saturated. I then put the pod back in but when I do, I don’t put it all the way in, I leave a tiny space. It’s finicky and you have to keep trying until you get it just right, to where you can still draw. It’s a hassle! But I’ve had similar issues with some pods. And then my next pack of pods are fine...!

I live in a condo building that prohibits smoking and vaping, even on the balconies. I was wondering how discreet the Caliburn system is. I'm looking for something with zero or very little vapor, and no taste or odor. I don't need or really want the whole vaping experience--I just want a good throat hit and to get the nicotine into my bloodstream. Does the Caliburn qualify? Or can someone recommend something that meets my needs? Thanks.

Hey Greg! I am in the same boat as you, but I find the Caliburn is a good fit. It may produce a good amount of vapour, but it disperses fairly quickly. Unless you are chain-vaping this, there should be little-to-no clouds in the room once you leave. If you are really concerned about the vapour production, you can blow the vapour into the back of a fan to have it disperse quicker!

Hey Greg, the caliburn has quite a bit of vapor. You should maybe try the smok Infinix very little vapor.. as they are both for salt nic the throat hit depends on the juice and nicotine levels you get. Hope that helps.

Hello, I read on a few forums that you can safely smoke below the Minimum level (MN line) as long as there is a little bit of juice there, and then switch to a new flavor. Has anyone done that here? Or should I just add the new flavor when the pod is half empty which is around the minimum level line. Appreciate any replies :)

Hey! I would recommend draining the juice when you hit the minimum line if you are looking to swap out flavours. You run the risk of burning your pod if you vape below the minimum, and that would be a bust :( To remove any remaining e-liquid, I whip it out over a sink. Works like a charm!

I replace the Uwell caliburn pod whenever it starts to taste a little on the burnt side, for me this would be about a week. These are very good pods and actually last longer then most.

Hey everyone - I really want to like this thing...but im not getting the MTL i wanted. Its super open...and yes ive tried the hacks...covering the holes, using cotton etc. Im thinking of ordering the newer pods....do they give a tighter draw? Im still using the ones I got with the kit yesterday.

I haven't gotten to trying them yet but i have heard that the new 1.2 ohm (koko) pods give a tighter draw, better flavour and last longer so that will probably be what you are looking for.

Hey! You sure can, although the Caliburn is more suitable for salt nicotine due to the more even VG/PG ratio. The Caliburn uses a coil resistance of 1.4 (or 1.2 for the Koko pods) which means it is not using much power. Nic free juices tend to be on the more viscous side with a standard 70/30 ratio, and it may be a bit harder for the Caliburn to vapourize these thicker juices. That being said, it is possible, you just may encounter some spit-back :)

When you plug in the charger, the light will flash to the corresponding level of battery. Which means it will flash red for low battery, then blue, then green. It will flash blue for a medium-low battery, then green. If the battery is nearly charged, it will flash green. When the light STOPS flashing, and just stays solid green, then it is charged.

It should be flashing blue on the front while its charging and flashing green when its done, The pod has passthrough see if you can draw on it while its plugged in if not id try another cable thats a known working cable, if that fails perhaps the battery is dead, in which case id contact uwell i have heard they have a good warranty

Hello, I've recently purchased the Caliburn- and am confused by how to use the fire button. The automatic draw is fantastic, I just pull on it like I would a cigarette. But was wondering what the proper usage is for "pushing" the button to inhale the liquids. When I press the fire button, do I inhale at the same time, or do I wait a second or two for it to fill up my mouth and then inhale? What exactly is the point of a fire button if you can just draw on the device as you would a cigarette? Also, when I hold down the fire button, it seems very powerful and almost sprays liquid into my mouth. Is this normal? Just wondering if there is a step-by-step tutorial on proper usage of the fire button (how long to press for, when to inhale, etc) because I can't find anything online. Thanks!

Hello Brent, the fire button is there for people who prefer to use the button versus the auto fire feature and to turn the device ON/OFF. The fire button does give a little more power versus the auto fire that is probably why you are getting a little big of spit back, spit back is normal for any device. A 3-4 second hit using the button is around normal and you can also use the button either way you would like MTL (Mouth to Lung) or DTL (Direct to Lung) it all comes down to personal preference. Personally I love the auto fire feature and my overall experience with the caliburn. If you have anymore questions don't hesitate to ask! Happy Vaping!

Hello Cindy, yes you can vape salt base nicotine when using the Caliburn. I would actually recommend using salt base in your caliburn as salt base nicotine works really well with low powered devices like the Caliburn. However it's all personal preference on what type of of nicotine you would like to use either freebase or nic salts. Happy Vaping!

Hi! So I switched to vape to quit smoking and it worked! It's been 4 months since I touched a cigarette and recently I made the switch to Caliburn from an Elven. But here's the thing, for a while I feel kinda weird and out of breath and I don't feel so good after having a few drags from the Caliburn. I don't know if it's not suiting me or if it's in my head. Is it possible for a vape device to be bad for me? I actually love the device but the sicky and tired feeling is scary and I'm not the only one my guy feels the same way

Hi Hans, The process for the caliburn is to continue refilling the pod when it reaches the minimum until it gets a burnt taste, once the taste is burnt throw away the whole pod and grab a new one, When you do fill the new pod with the desired liquid and let it sit for about 10 minutes to soak into the cotton, then plug and play! good to go! hope this helps.

Pods have the coil inside them, there's still a coil it's just not removable from the pod itself. You continue to refill the pod until you taste a burnt/lacking flavour (just like a coil). Once it starts tasting bad, you throw out the whole pod and fill a new one to use. Most pods should last on average about a week, however Caliburns seem to exceed that easily.

I bought one of these last week, bought 4 spare pods too because I liked the idea of switching between flavs during the day. UNFORTUNATELY, I found that the spitback is insane, almost every other hit i'm feeling juice in my mouth or on my lips and two of the pods leaked when left upright on my desk, but the weirdest part is the pods leaked from the chimney and left a puddle under the pod. Does anyone have any advice for me? the juices i'm using are reg nic, 3 of the pods had 70/30 in and the other 50/50. I really want to like the Caliburn as the few hits I got without problem were awesome and filled with flavour and produced good clouds but this experience is really putting me off.

Hi- I occasionally get the same issue as well, where the pods leak to form a puddle underneath which accumulates in the UWELL vape device itself. It's actually quite aggravating when it occurs, because the only way I know that this happens is when I get a throatful of juice! And then it can screw up your throat for the next hour or two, coughing fits. Would like a answer by a professional as to why this leakage occurs in a seemingly normal pod. Does it have to do with fill level in the pod? I believe I've noticed if and when it does happen, it's after a recent fill. There is an indicator on the pods now which show a line with the word "min", which I take to mean that it is the minimum level to be filled at. But wonder what the max level is, and if it's too much would that contribute to the massive levels of juice pooling under the pod? Many thanks! Hope you're all staying safe during these crazy times. - Brent Jackson

So...I just received my device yesterday. I’ve had to charge it 3 times. The battery lasts for 45 minutes (in total) use. I know it’s a smaller battery but this doesn’t seem right. Anyone else have the same issue or is this just normal? I have an aspire with 3 times the battery size and it lasts 2, sometimes 3 days...I figured, with my vaping habits, I’d get at least a day out of this device. Anyone else dealing with the same battery life? Is this normal?

Hi, I vaped something called Blu many years ago and I believe I went back to cigarette smoking after a few months. Then 2 years ago I started using IQOS and have not been smoking cigarettes since. Even though I'm satisfied with the IQOS, I feel that I should give vaping a try again (after all, HNB is not vape). So, I saw a ton of good reviews for the Caliburn and I have a few questions as I am definitely a noob in vaping. How often do I have to change the cartridge? How likely the juice would leak if I keep the Caliburn in my jeans pocket? Are there any nic salt juice that is unsweetened? And lastly (and I know this is a stupid question), if I were to try to mimic the IQOS throat hit experience but don't want to get too much nic level, what mg of nic should I get in the nic salt juice? Thanks a lot. btw, I live in Vancouver, do you happen to have a location so that I can bug the staff there if I have more questions? Cheers

The UWell Caliburn is the best pod system I’ve come across. UWell really got it together and did their R&D and developed a great pod. I’ve been vaping for about 4 years now and have done tanks, build your own, sqwonk, and multiple salt nic mods.. in regards to the cartridge, I just changed mine from about 3 weeks and not cause it burnt out, it was due to me mixing multiple flavors and just not getting a string hit of flavor anymore.. I’d say 3-4 weeks on one pod. I keep the pod in my shirt pocket all day everyday and have never had it leak once.. at DashVapes if there’s a flavor you like they can make it a salt nic in less than a few minutes.. I’ve smoked for about 12 years prior to vaping and I’m at about 30 to 35% nic salt and that usually satisfies my craving without a strong throat hit but flavors and % would be really dependent on your use and likes and dislikes.. but I’d highly recommend this mod and DashVapes.. the staff here in Vaughan Ontario is awesome and I’m sure they are at other locations as well.. best of luck..!!

The Calliburn is prob my 4th vape and my favourite by far. If u are an avid smoker you may not have to change the cartridge for about 2 or 3 weeks. You’ll know when you have to change cuz it’ll start to loose flavour and/or taste burnt. I’ve had problems in the past with juice leaking but this one is amazing, a guy at the store told me that it has a vacuum like function and will suck the juice back in when u take a hit, if you’re going to put it in ur pocket as long as u don’t put it in facing down you should be fine. My almost never leaks. The Calliburn works really good without salt nic and still gives a really nice throat hit. Right now I’m using 12mg of regular nic and it gives me a nice hit but since ur a smoker I recommend going higher maybe for salt nic 12mg could work

Hey there! There should be no issue if you use regular nicotine juice, that's more of a personal preference. I'm currently using this with an 80vg/20pg mix juice with salt nic, but I've also tried it out with regular nicotine. The nicotine has no bearing on how the device performs in a technical sense. But if you're looking for a more satisfying throat hit, and looking for a more satisfying nicotine intake then I would recommend salt nic. Talk to the guys at Dash Vapes I'm sure they'll be able to cover all the bases for you. Either way if this is going to be your first pod system, or even if it's not, I would highly recommend it. Amazing battery life, great coil life, and HUGE flavour.

No problem at all. Just try to stick as close to 50/50 VG/PG as you can, as super thick liquids will have a hard time wicking.
