Hi, I vaped something called Blu many years ago and I believe I went back to cigarette smoking after a few months. Then 2 years ago I started using IQOS and have not been smoking cigarettes since. Even though I'm satisfied with the IQOS, I feel that I should give vaping a try again (after all, HNB is not vape). So, I saw a ton of good reviews for the Caliburn and I have a few questions as I am definitely a noob in vaping. How often do I have to change the cartridge? How likely the juice would leak if I keep the Caliburn in my jeans pocket? Are there any nic salt juice that is unsweetened? And lastly (and I know this is a stupid question), if I were to try to mimic the IQOS throat hit experience but don't want to get too much nic level, what mg of nic should I get in the nic salt juice? Thanks a lot. btw, I live in Vancouver, do you happen to have a location so that I can bug the staff there if I have more questions? Cheers

The UWell Caliburn is the best pod system I’ve come across. UWell really got it together and did their R&D and developed a great pod. I’ve been vaping for about 4 years now and have done tanks, build your own, sqwonk, and multiple salt nic mods.. in regards to the cartridge, I just changed mine from about 3 weeks and not cause it burnt out, it was due to me mixing multiple flavors and just not getting a string hit of flavor anymore.. I’d say 3-4 weeks on one pod. I keep the pod in my shirt pocket all day everyday and have never had it leak once.. at DashVapes if there’s a flavor you like they can make it a salt nic in less than a few minutes.. I’ve smoked for about 12 years prior to vaping and I’m at about 30 to 35% nic salt and that usually satisfies my craving without a strong throat hit but flavors and % would be really dependent on your use and likes and dislikes.. but I’d highly recommend this mod and DashVapes.. the staff here in Vaughan Ontario is awesome and I’m sure they are at other locations as well.. best of luck..!!

The Calliburn is prob my 4th vape and my favourite by far. If u are an avid smoker you may not have to change the cartridge for about 2 or 3 weeks. You’ll know when you have to change cuz it’ll start to loose flavour and/or taste burnt. I’ve had problems in the past with juice leaking but this one is amazing, a guy at the store told me that it has a vacuum like function and will suck the juice back in when u take a hit, if you’re going to put it in ur pocket as long as u don’t put it in facing down you should be fine. My almost never leaks. The Calliburn works really good without salt nic and still gives a really nice throat hit. Right now I’m using 12mg of regular nic and it gives me a nice hit but since ur a smoker I recommend going higher maybe for salt nic 12mg could work

Hey there! There should be no issue if you use regular nicotine juice, that's more of a personal preference. I'm currently using this with an 80vg/20pg mix juice with salt nic, but I've also tried it out with regular nicotine. The nicotine has no bearing on how the device performs in a technical sense. But if you're looking for a more satisfying throat hit, and looking for a more satisfying nicotine intake then I would recommend salt nic. Talk to the guys at Dash Vapes I'm sure they'll be able to cover all the bases for you. Either way if this is going to be your first pod system, or even if it's not, I would highly recommend it. Amazing battery life, great coil life, and HUGE flavour.

No problem at all. Just try to stick as close to 50/50 VG/PG as you can, as super thick liquids will have a hard time wicking.

Got off cigarettes 2 weeks ago with the infinix. Watched some reviews on the caliburn and decided to order from dash vapes. Expectations have been exceeded. This is head and shoulders above the infinix. Perfect pod for staying off the cigs. Great flavor every vape. Also unbelievable shipping from dash vapes. If you are thinking about a pod, this is the one.

Loved my smok novo but grown sick and tired of smoks poor quality in the replacement pods so I needed a new pod system. Heard good things about the caliburn and said let's try it out. Best decision I have made. Consistent hits and flavor. On my 2nd week with the same pod and still consistent, novo pods would last me a week if it was an ok pod. I think ibe gotten 2 minor spitbacks in the week and a half, when i say minor. I wasnt really sure if it was spitback or not. No leakage whatsoever. Id have to clean the novo atleast once a day. Battery life lasts me all day on a single charge. So easy and clean to refill. If you want a pod system, the caliburn is it. Hands down.

Every time I attempt to quit smoking, I buy a new vape. This time I decided to go for the Caliburn since it pretty new and every review I came across praises the flavour. They weren't kidding. I'm pretty new to pod systems, previously purchasing the Vapeccino Mate 1. Compared to the Vapeccino, the Caliburn has much more flavour and is a similar size. Would definitely recommend to anyone that wants really strong flavour, and the 2ml pod capacity is also something I appreciate.

The best by far. I have tried numerous devices and this is THE best hands down. Responsive, great flavour, and good cloud. Have used both salts and freebase in it. I found the sides have two little holes and if I wanted a bit stronger I just cover one hole. Not really needed though. Also battery life is great. I usually recharge it around 11 pm. Great job on this device!

It is the BEST! Period!Out of nowhere came the caliburn and it is smaller than looked which is great,the draw is great and if you want a stronger drag then hold the button,boom!Taste is amazing,I'm up to my 4th refill and still going with 2ml each fill.Uwell is known for their coils so it's no surprise why the pods keep lasting.Exactly what i was looking for and the timing was perfect.Also delivery was on time coming from Canada to New Jersey (USA).Thanks DashVapes👍

4++ Stars ~ Best Pod Device To Date
Currently using 70/30 35 mg Nic Salt and the flavour on this device is unreal. All the reviews out there are correct. I love the dual firing options and find that I use both, sometime press to fire, sometimes auto draw. I like options and this gives it to you. Absolutely no leaking with the pod......oh and did i mention the flavour? It is seriously amazing. I'm a little surprised by this thing! Battery life is pretty good and make it almost the entire day, top fill is great, easy and clean. The only tiny complaint is that it has a loser draw then i personally prefer, but it hasn't stopped me from chain vaping it! Congrats to Uwell on their first pod device, it's really outstanding. Dashvapes, awesome as always, you continue to set the standard for customer service and product selection ~ far above the rest.

We want nothing more than for our customers to feel they receive quality products and high quality service. After the receipt of your order, we offer a 14-day return policy on any DOA (dead on arrival) or unused items, factory sealed in the manufacturer's original packaging.

Please inspect and test all products upon receipt, the 14-day return window begins regardless of whether the products were opened or not.

Any manufacturer defects will be solved by our 30-day warranty (or 90-day warranty where applicable).

Unfortunately consumables are always a final sale (e-juice, coils, tanks, accesories, drip tips, replacement parts, rebuildable supplies, etc).
Our 30-day warranty begins the day the items are delivered. Customer assumes all cost in shipping items back to DashVapes, and DashVapes assume all cost in shipping the item back to the customer. Shipping cost incurrected is non-refundable/creditable.

What is not covered by our warranty?
  • E-liquids, Atomizers, Tanks, Rebuildable products, batteries, chargers, mechanical mods, drip tips, coils or any other accessories on the device itself are NOT covered.
  • Failure or damage caused due to improper use or unauthorized repair
  • Failure or damage as a result of excessive force such as dropping or abuse
  • Failure or damage as a result of usage outside of recommended operating instructions. (See usage manual for operating instructions)
  • Damage or failure caused by improper use. This includes water damage, juice spillage, and fire damage.
  • Leaky tanks are not covered under warranty
  • Loss or damage due to missing components
  • Stripped or damaged threads, crooked 510 connection (Atomizer not sitting flush)
  • Damage to the finish (cosmetic issues), or scratches from a brushed finish.
  • Rattling or sticky buttons
  • Modifying a product in any way, automatically voids the warranty.
  • Defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the product.
  • Items outside of our warranty period

What is covered by our Warranty?
  • LED screen issues
  • Charging port issues
  • Battery issues (turning off when firing, etc)
  • Unit auto firing.
  • Chip malfunctions

Some products will have minor flaws and that is to be expected during manufacturing. We can only accept a return or exchange if an item is defective (malfunctioning).

Extended Warranty
DashVapes offers an extended 90-day warranty on some items (specifically starter kits and mods). The 90-day extended warranty extends your existing 30-day warranty that comes with the purchase to 90 days. The price for the extended warranty is always $5.00.

You can add the Extended Warranty to your purchase when you add an item to your shopping cart.

You may purchase the additional warranty on your device within 7 days of your purchase.

The extended warranty prolongs your warranty period from 30 to 90 days. It does not alter what is covered by the warranty.
Restocking Fee
Returns / exchanges will incur a 10% Restocking fee on items. This includes packages not signed for during delivery and returned to us by the shipping courier. We can only accept returns on manufacturer sealed items. If an item does not come sealed originally, we are unable to take a return on it. Returns and exchanges are made in the form of Store Credit, and added to your account in the form of Points. Please be aware, if items are returned incomplete or not in the same condition they were shipped to you in, no Credit will be given and the package will be returned to you at your expense.
Underage Purchases
Every package that we ship utilizes Canada Post's Age Verification service. This means that in order for Canada Post to hand over the package, you must verify that you are of legal smoking age in your province or state. (If you are in Canada and choose UPS, UPS requires you to be 19 regardless of where you order from). If Canada Post cannot verify your age, they will ship the items back to us. Once the items return, final sale items (as outlined below) are non-refundable. Any items that are eligible for a refund will be done so minus a FIFTY PERCENT (50%) restocking fee, as well as any shipping charges incurred for shipping the items to you, and for Canada Post to ship them back to us. This is absolutely non-negotiable. If you are underage, please do not order items, you will lose money doing so.

Incorrectly received items must be returned to us. We provide you with a prepaid return label via email to send back the product(s) free of charge. Product Exchanges
Items that are DOA (Dead on Arrival) or still under warranty, are eligible for an exchange only. We will exchange the item with the exact same item, in the exact same colour. Exceptions may apply if the item is no longer being actively stocked.

We can not offer store credit or refunds on warranty exchanges.
Refunds & Store Credit
We are unable to issue refunds to any form of payment other than the original credit card used to make your purchase.

We are unable to issue a refund via Interac E-Transfer, Cash, Debit Card or Cheque. If you purchased using Interac E-Transfer, Debit Card, Cash or Cheque, you will receive store credit.

We issue refunds within 7 business days after receipt and inspection of returned merchandise. You will receive an email notification confirming your refund.

Where applicable, we issue store credit in the form of reward points for the value of the returned product(s) after receipt and inspection of returned merchandise.

At DashVapes we offer a couple of shipping options to our customers. The shipping method you choose does not affect how quickly your orders get placed or processed. We try to ship all In-stock orders that get placed prior to 1:00 PM EST the same day. In some situations though it may take up to 3 days to process and ship your order. Our packages are packaged discreetly for your security. Backordered items will ship as soon as they become in stock.

We offer various Canada Post, and UPS shipping options all over the world. Shipping rates are calculated on the checkout page. A delivery estimate will be shown on the checkout page.
Proof of Age Required
We utilize Canada Post's Proof of Age (18+, 19+ or 21+ depending on your province or state) option on every single package, no exceptions.

Because we utilize this option for all shipments, signature will be obtained upon delivery of all shipments. If you are not home when delivery is attempted, the package will be left at your nearest post office, where you will have to show Proof of Age to sign and receive the package.

Any fees associated with packages that are Returned to Sender because Proof of Age was not able to be determined, will NOT receive a refund.

We can not remove this option, even if you have already been verified to be of age. - Every package leaving our facilities will require to be age verified, in accordance with Canadian law. only the person named in the "Shipping" fields can pick up the package. Canada Post will NOT release the package to anyone else
Free Shipping
We offer free shipping on all orders in Canada and USA when you purchase C$35 or more in non-overstock products, and free shipping every where else in the world when you spend C$100 or more in non-overstock products. We usually utilize Canada Post Expedited shipping option for free shipping in Canada, UPS Standard for free shipping the U.S.A, and UPS or Canada Post Tracked Packet for all international destinations. There is no insurance added to packages shipped for free.

Overstock items are NOT counted towards the free shipping minimum.

We reserve the right to cancel orders we deem unreasonable to ship for free. (Examples of this are extremely heavy or large and awkward products, etc). We will give you the option to pay for shipping on these items.

In the event your item is not succesfully delivered due to an issue that we deem to be your fault (Wrong address, Failure to pick up, Underage), we will deduct the shipping fees from the initial shipment (even if it was free for you), and the fees for the return shipment that we were charged by the carrier from any potential refund you may be eligible to.

Orders shipped to outside of Canada may be subject to import duties, taxes, and / or brokerage fees. We cannot control this.
Order Processing
We process all in-stock orders 7 days a week (excluding Canadian holidays).

Please note, if you receive a tracking number during a weekend or major holiday, your order is prepared for shipment, but it is not handed off to a shipping carrier until the following business day.

We reserve the right to additional processing time if any questions or concerns regarding your order arise. We always do our best to get in touch with you via phone or email only when absolutely necessary. Please make sure you provide us with current contact information during checkout.

Any foreseen order processing delays are visibly announced directly on the affected product's page. If we are experiencing a larger than normal order volume an announcement is made via a site-wide notice.

Typically, In-stock orders placed before 1:00 PM EST will go out the same day.
Carrier Restrictions
Canada Post do not deliver packages on Saturday or Sunday, or major Canadian holidays.

We only ship using Canada Post and UPS, we are unable to use FedEX, DHL or any other shipping carrier.
Tracking numbers are automatically generated when we print your shipping label during order processing. An email containing the tracking number with the subject "Your order has shipped!" is then sent to the email address you provided during checkout.

US and International non-tracked items do not have insurance, and will not be replaced in the event of loss.
Orders outside of Canada
DashVapes offers multiple shipping options at various price points when shipping outside of Canada, or the United States.

Order Changes & Cancellations
Order changes or cancellations are possible. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate any changes as long as the order has not yet been shipped. Once an order has shipped, you must return the package to us prior to receiving a refund, shipping fees are not refundable.

Electronic Cigarette liquid (or ejuice) can only be canceled if the order has not yet been created. Since we typically mix to order, We are unable to cancel / refund / credit for juice that is already created, even if it is still within our facilities.
