Is this device safe to travel on a flight with? I’m flying with westjet next month and west jet says to remove the batteries but I’m like 100% sure the caliburn g battery is not removable. I have never travelled with vape gear any advice?

I have travelled countless times with various types of vaping devices. Big mods, evod kits, pod kits, juul etc.. Not once have I had an issue or even a question. Empty your pocket, put your vape in the tray, walk through the scanner, get your vape on the other side. Done.

I don’t know if your questions been answered somewhere else but I’ve travelled with a Juul (with a pack of pods) before and I got no issues at the airport security. I’d say it is safe to travel with as long as it’s not on because unlike the Juul this vape has a button and can accidentally fire without your knowledge, but as long as it’s not in your pocket or somewhere else that might cause it to fire then you should be fine. Just an fyi I recently bought the caliburn g and it was in my pocket and I made sure to turn it off (i do a little dry hit before I put it in my pocket to make sure it’s off) and somehow the phone in my pocket turned it on and made it fire until I realized it was firing which sadly burnt my coil. But overall I’d say it’s safe but you can never be too sure with vapes that have buttons.

Hi, I'd like to buy this product with additional pods. I use a juul right now, can someone explain the difference of 0.8ohm pods vs 1.0ohm? I like higher nicotine and a harsher throat hit. Thanks!

I am aware the coils are no longer replaceable but I have a bunch left over, pods included. If they will fit this machine I will order it as mine is in need of replacing. Just need to know if they're the exact same minus the replaceable coil.

I just received this and I’m loving it but, I accidentally just had it fire in my pocket. (I forgot to lock it) can I still use this device? I threw away the pod away because there’s no doubt it burned the coil. My device is now off and has no pod installed. I can smell it I’m pretty sure the pod leaked when firing. I’m not sure what to do.

Yeah you're fine, it happens to everyone. It happens to me multiple times per week. Just change the pod if it's burned and you're good to go.

Why is it that I can only get a day or 2 out of the coils I used the caliburn for the last 2 years and would get around a month out of a coil but now I fill the pod and allow it to sit over night yet they still burn out within a couple of days, I've purchased 2 packs of coils and both do the same thing. Is it possible my caliburn g mod is putting out more wattage than it is supposed to?

Why are the pods are leaking constantly from the air inlet hole on the bottom after the second fill. Don't understand what the problem is, as this is being described as "leak proof". This is what I do: 1) Prime the coil with a drop or two, let it sit for a few minutes. 2) Place the coil into the the pod, ensuring it is inserted in the correct position. 3) Fill the pod about 3/4 ways full with juice, let it sit for about 10 or 15 minutes. 4) Ensure the device is fully charged, place the pod into the device. 5) Use it wonderfully for the first couple nights- NO ISSUES! 6) Upon 3rd night, pod is getting low on juice. Refill pod about 3/4 ways again. 7) HERE IS WHERE IS ALL GOES SOUTH: AFTER ABOUT 15 MINUTES OF LETTING THE POD SIT, ALL OF A SUDDEN STARTS LEAKING CONSTANTLY OUT THE AIR INTAKE HOLE ON BOTTOM OF POD!! 8) Try new pod, repeat procedure again. Wonderful for a night or two, but on refill, AGAIN leaks from air intake hole! 9) Try new pod, repeat procedure. LEAKS AGAIN after the refill. I am now out of pods. Unreal. I am filling up the pods through the proper filling hole. So what is going on?? Why is the stuff coming out of the air intake hole after a refill? BTW, have also tried new coils with the pods, but the coils aren't the problem. If a solution or explanation could be given, it would be much appreciated.

One thing that I found is that the coil needs to be inserted in the right direction to ensure a proper seal. At the bottom of the pod, the flat edge of the silver coil bottom should be facing the small hole in the bottom (the seat is set up to accept the coil this way). If it is not aligned properly, pod won't sit down properly and also this can allow some air to enter the bottom and possibly cause leaking.

Hopefully this helps someone else down the line.. figured out what I was doing wrong: Not filling the pods up all at once. Rather, I was filling them incrementally, being so used to having to do that with my older vape system so as to avoid leakage. In this case, it's what was causing the leakage. Must have something to do with pressure or something. Anyhow, the answer is: Fill up the pods in one shot! Leaking gone, even after refills! This is even in the instructions initially provided. Okay, happy vaping all.

It's a great device, however it doesn't have any protection against burning in the pocket, and the button is much more sensitive than the previous Caliburn. Is there any possibility to turn off the button firing? Any firmware update to add some protection - don't burn more than 3 or 5 sec? As mine burn its coil down in my pocket. Fortunately the tank didn't get damaged, however I had to order a new one - it's taste got bad and had some slight leaking. thanks Máté

No one has posted how to turn it off, press your firing button quickly five times. The battery light will flash and then the vape is off, no more misfirings in pockets. To turn on, press button five times quickly. Light blinks again to let you know it's on.

Yes, I know, how to turn off, but it’s not possible while charging. Which is pretty bad as while you are on move you need to put it somewhere with a powerbank but the you cannot avoid the chance to firing itself. These issues didn't exist with the previous version. Honestly I never needed the button yet thats why I asked how to disable it - whether any button combination or through computer.:( Even though I love the product.

SAME THING happened to me yesterday. I got home to a burning smell from my side bag and realized the coil had been toasted. The coil was stuck/ melted inside the pod and the rubber gasket also broke and was floating inside my pod. The burning smell is finally going away from the device but it was a horrible experience. The button is nice but also an annoyance and I think I'd rather not have it at all.

Hello! You can use either Freebase or Salt Nicotine with this device. Any ratio will be fine (50/50, 70/30), although I would stay away from max VG as it will gunk up the coil faster.

Warranty

What is not covered by our warranty?
  • E-liquids, Atomizers, Tanks, Rebuildable products, batteries, chargers, mechanical mods, drip tips, coils or any other accessories on the device itself are NOT covered.
  • Failure or damage caused due to improper use or unauthorized repair
  • Failure or damage as a result of excessive force such as dropping or abuse
  • Failure or damage as a result of usage outside of recommended operating instructions. (See usage manual for operating instructions)
  • Damage or failure caused by improper use. This includes water damage, juice spillage, and fire damage.
  • Leaky tanks are not covered under warranty
  • Loss or damage due to missing components
  • Stripped or damaged threads, crooked 510 connection (Atomizer not sitting flush)
  • Damage to the finish (cosmetic issues), or scratches from a brushed finish.
  • Rattling or sticky buttons
  • Modifying a product in any way, automatically voids the warranty.
  • Defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the product.
  • Items outside of our warranty period

What is covered by our Warranty?
  • LED screen issues
  • Charging port issues
  • Battery issues (turning off when firing, etc)
  • Unit auto firing.
  • Chip malfunctions


Some products will have minor flaws and that is to be expected during manufacturing. We can only accept a return or exchange if an item is defective (malfunctioning).

Extended Warranty
DashVapes offers an extended 90-day warranty on some items (specifically starter kits and mods). The 90-day extended warranty extends your existing 30-day warranty that comes with the purchase to 90 days. The price for the extended warranty is always $5.00.

You can add the Extended Warranty to your purchase when you add an item to your shopping cart.

You may purchase the additional warranty on your device within 7 days of your purchase.

The extended warranty prolongs your warranty period from 30 to 90 days. It does not alter what is covered by the warranty.
Restocking Fee
Returns / exchanges will incur a 10% Restocking fee on items. This includes packages not signed for during delivery and returned to us by the shipping courier. We can only accept returns on manufacturer sealed items. If an item does not come sealed originally, we are unable to take a return on it. Returns and exchanges are made in the form of Store Credit, and added to your account in the form of Points. Please be aware, if items are returned incomplete or not in the same condition they were shipped to you in, no Credit will be given and the package will be returned to you at your expense.
Underage Purchases
Every package that we ship utilizes Canada Post's Age Verification service. This means that in order for Canada Post to hand over the package, you must verify that you are of legal smoking age in your province or state. (If you are in Canada and choose UPS, UPS requires you to be 19 regardless of where you order from). If Canada Post cannot verify your age, they will ship the items back to us. Once the items return, final sale items (as outlined below) are non-refundable. At DashVapes we offer a couple of shipping options to our customers. The shipping method you choose does not affect how quickly your orders get placed or processed. We try to ship all In-stock orders that get placed prior to 1:30 PM EST the same day. In some situations though it may take up to 3 days to process and ship your order. Our packages are packaged discreetly for your security. Backordered items will ship as soon as they become in stock.

We offer various Canada Post, and UPS shipping options all over the world. Shipping rates are calculated on the checkout page. A delivery estimate will be shown on the checkout page.
Proof of Age Required
We utilize Canada Post's Proof of Age (18+, 19+ or 21+ depending on your province or state) option on every single package, no exceptions.

Because we utilize this option for all shipments, signature will be obtained upon delivery of all shipments. If you are not home when delivery is attempted, the package will be left at your nearest post office, where you will have to show Proof of Age to sign and receive the package.

Same-Day Delivery
DashVapes offers same-day delivery to a limited amount of postal zones surrounding some of the DashVapes retail locations.

You must place your order before 11:30 AM, be in an eligible delivery zone, and choose Same Day Delivery as your shipping option. The service costs $8.00 + tax (The service is free if your order is over $35). If you choose the FREE same-day delivery option - your order may arrive the next day.

Deliveries take place every day except for on holidays. Deliveries will arrive to you between 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
Deliveries in Peterborough, and Waterloo only happen Monday-Friday.
You must present ID to the driver showing that you are 19 years of age or older. Failure to do so will result in a failed delivery and an additional $6.00 to re-attempt delivery on a future day. Please be sure you are available to receive the delivery.

Once we ship your package, you will receive an email and SMS asking for you to confirm that you'll be able to receive the package, or to reschedule the delivery to a different day. Overstock items do not count towards the free shipping minimum. Within Canada, we utilize whichever shipping option is available to us at the time. Sometimes it may be Canada Post, other times it may be Canpar and occasionally it may be a same-day delivery option, Canada Post Tracked Packet for free shipping the U.S.A, and UPS or Canada Post Air Shipping for all international destinations (some international destinations may be untracked). There is no insurance added to packages shipped for free.

We reserve the right to cancel orders we deem unreasonable to ship for free. (Examples of this are extremely heavy or large and awkward products, etc). We will give you the option to pay for shipping on these items.

Orders shipping for free must ship from the same distribution center. If all of the items on your order are not in stock at one distribution center and must be shipped form multiple locations, we will contact you to either change the item or to pay additional shipping charges.

In the event your item is not succesfully delivered due to an issue that we deem to be your fault (Wrong address, Failure to pick up, Underage), we will deduct the shipping fees from the initial shipment (even if it was free for you), and the fees for the return shipment that we were charged by the carrier from any potential refund you may be eligible to.

Orders shipped to outside of Canada may be subject to import duties, taxes, and / or brokerage fees. We cannot control this.
Order Processing
We process all in-stock orders 7 days a week (excluding Canadian holidays).

Please note, if you receive a tracking number during a weekend or major holiday, your order is prepared for shipment, but it is not handed off to a shipping carrier until the following business day.

We reserve the right to additional processing time if any questions or concerns regarding your order arise. We always do our best to get in touch with you via phone or email only when absolutely necessary. Please make sure you provide us with current contact information during checkout.

Any foreseen order processing delays are visibly announced directly on the affected product's page. If we are experiencing a larger than normal order volume an announcement is made via a site-wide notice.

Typically, In-stock orders placed before 1:00 PM EST will go out the same day. (Delivery will depend on the carrier). CANPAR does an earlier pick up, and the same day cut off for CANPAR is 10AM.
Carrier Restrictions
Canada Post do not deliver packages on Saturday or Sunday, or major Canadian holidays.

We only ship using Canada Post and UPS, we are unable to use FedEX, DHL or any other shipping carrier.
Tracking
Tracking numbers are automatically generated when we print your shipping label during order processing. An email containing the tracking number with the subject "Your order has shipped!" is then sent to the email address you provided during checkout.

Please check your email's "spam" folders if you did not receive a tracking number

Canadian customers can track their packages using http://www.canadapost.ca

U.S.A customers can track their packages using http://www.usps.com

International customers can track their packages using the local post office service for their country if a tracking number is provided. Sometimes, International tracking is not available.

Insurance
Every package shipped by DashVapes is insured up to $100.00 on tracked packages only. If your order is larger than $100, and you'd like to add full insurance coverage to your package, you can do so at the checkout page. In the event that Canada Post or UPS lose a package, we will only credit orders up to $100.00 if they do not have full insurance.

US and International non-tracked items do not have insurance, and will not be replaced in the event of loss.
Orders outside of Canada
DashVapes offers multiple shipping options at various price points when shipping outside of Canada, or the United States.

UPS offers the most reliable, and quickest options. You can find the shipping rates on the checkout page after filling out your delivery address.

There may be additional import duties and taxes when receiving your package. This is rated based on your country and is out of our control.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Order changes or cancellations are possible. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate any changes as long as the order has not yet been shipped. Once an order has shipped, you must return the package to us prior to receiving a refund, shipping fees are not refundable.

Electronic Cigarette liquid (or ejuice) can only be canceled if the order has not yet been created. Since we typically mix to order, We are unable to cancel / refund / credit for juice that is already created, even if it is still within our facilities.
