Personally, I like to use the button when i'm looking for a boost or a stronger throat hit. It gives you a bit more control over the pull.

Hello, I've recently purchased the Caliburn- and am confused by how to use the fire button. The automatic draw is fantastic, I just pull on it like I would a cigarette. But was wondering what the proper usage is for "pushing" the button to inhale the liquids. When I press the fire button, do I inhale at the same time, or do I wait a second or two for it to fill up my mouth and then inhale? What exactly is the point of a fire button if you can just draw on the device as you would a cigarette? Also, when I hold down the fire button, it seems very powerful and almost sprays liquid into my mouth. Is this normal? Just wondering if there is a step-by-step tutorial on proper usage of the fire button (how long to press for, when to inhale, etc) because I can't find anything online. Thanks!

Hello Brent, the fire button is there for people who prefer to use the button versus the auto fire feature and to turn the device ON/OFF. The fire button does give a little more power versus the auto fire that is probably why you are getting a little big of spit back, spit back is normal for any device. A 3-4 second hit using the button is around normal and you can also use the button either way you would like MTL (Mouth to Lung) or DTL (Direct to Lung) it all comes down to personal preference. Personally I love the auto fire feature and my overall experience with the caliburn. If you have anymore questions don't hesitate to ask! Happy Vaping!

About the Unwell Caliburn can you smoke Salt base in the 1.4 pod ? Or do you need Smoke E juice or can you smoke either one In a 1.4 pod ?

Hello Cindy, yes you can vape salt base nicotine when using the Caliburn. I would actually recommend using salt base in your caliburn as salt base nicotine works really well with low powered devices like the Caliburn. However it's all personal preference on what type of of nicotine you would like to use either freebase or nic salts. Happy Vaping!

You will want to change them every 2 - 3 weeks depending on use. You will know it needs to be changed when you start to notice a slightly burnt taste.

Hi! So I switched to vape to quit smoking and it worked! It's been 4 months since I touched a cigarette and recently I made the switch to Caliburn from an Elven. But here's the thing, for a while I feel kinda weird and out of breath and I don't feel so good after having a few drags from the Caliburn. I don't know if it's not suiting me or if it's in my head. Is it possible for a vape device to be bad for me? I actually love the device but the sicky and tired feeling is scary and I'm not the only one my guy feels the same way

Maybe the nic strength is too high? Try a lower mg maybe? My mom is a chain smoker so she tried 48mg nic salts and it made her dizzy, her lungs were wheezy when shed breathe and lots of coughing. Try lower mg, it might just be too strong for you!

Well for starters Vape devices ARE bad for you, the misconception is that vaping does no damage. However this is not necessarily a bad thing because the damage from vaping is only about 5% of what you would get out of a cigarette. Different pods let out smoke at different levels and sometimes if the pod releases more smoke than what your old pod used that would cause the inside of your lungs to be more coated in the thick vapor which would lower your lung capacity and make you feel out of breath and heavy. Try comparing the more nitty gritty details that separate the elven from your cali burn to see if that is the case. Also do consider that each device does something different for everyone and their response is very personal so perhaps the caliburn just may not be the right one for you. Maybe you just need to get used to it but I would say to try out a different device to protect your lungs which may not be comfortable with the caliburn smoke output.

Hey I recently bought this system and the spitback is really insane. I am really disappointed in this. Am i doing something wrong? almost every hit i feel juice hitting my throat which is very irritating. I am using the radvaper whoa saltnic with 70/30 vgpg ratio.

I use regular ejuice but still have occasional spit back. Usually when i over fill or use the automatic draw. Have less issues when i use the button draw. Cleaning the mouth piece out with a Kleenex seems to help.

Yes, The caliburn does have pass through charging so you can use the device while it is charging although this can cause issues with battery longevity in my insurance.

Hi Hans, The process for the caliburn is to continue refilling the pod when it reaches the minimum until it gets a burnt taste, once the taste is burnt throw away the whole pod and grab a new one, When you do fill the new pod with the desired liquid and let it sit for about 10 minutes to soak into the cotton, then plug and play! good to go! hope this helps.

Pods have the coil inside them, there's still a coil it's just not removable from the pod itself. You continue to refill the pod until you taste a burnt/lacking flavour (just like a coil). Once it starts tasting bad, you throw out the whole pod and fill a new one to use. Most pods should last on average about a week, however Caliburns seem to exceed that easily.

I use both devices and the Caliburn has a looser draw, but not by much in my opinion. The Caliburn is my favorite, I use the Vladdin for higher mg nic salts.

I bought one of these last week, bought 4 spare pods too because I liked the idea of switching between flavs during the day. UNFORTUNATELY, I found that the spitback is insane, almost every other hit i'm feeling juice in my mouth or on my lips and two of the pods leaked when left upright on my desk, but the weirdest part is the pods leaked from the chimney and left a puddle under the pod. Does anyone have any advice for me? the juices i'm using are reg nic, 3 of the pods had 70/30 in and the other 50/50. I really want to like the Caliburn as the few hits I got without problem were awesome and filled with flavour and produced good clouds but this experience is really putting me off.

So...I just received my device yesterday. I’ve had to charge it 3 times. The battery lasts for 45 minutes (in total) use. I know it’s a smaller battery but this doesn’t seem right. Anyone else have the same issue or is this just normal? I have an aspire with 3 times the battery size and it lasts 2, sometimes 3 days...I figured, with my vaping habits, I’d get at least a day out of this device. Anyone else dealing with the same battery life? Is this normal?

Hi, I vaped something called Blu many years ago and I believe I went back to cigarette smoking after a few months. Then 2 years ago I started using IQOS and have not been smoking cigarettes since. Even though I'm satisfied with the IQOS, I feel that I should give vaping a try again (after all, HNB is not vape). So, I saw a ton of good reviews for the Caliburn and I have a few questions as I am definitely a noob in vaping. How often do I have to change the cartridge? How likely the juice would leak if I keep the Caliburn in my jeans pocket? Are there any nic salt juice that is unsweetened? And lastly (and I know this is a stupid question), if I were to try to mimic the IQOS throat hit experience but don't want to get too much nic level, what mg of nic should I get in the nic salt juice? Thanks a lot. btw, I live in Vancouver, do you happen to have a location so that I can bug the staff there if I have more questions? Cheers

The UWell Caliburn is the best pod system I’ve come across. UWell really got it together and did their R&D and developed a great pod. I’ve been vaping for about 4 years now and have done tanks, build your own, sqwonk, and multiple salt nic mods.. in regards to the cartridge, I just changed mine from about 3 weeks and not cause it burnt out, it was due to me mixing multiple flavors and just not getting a string hit of flavor anymore.. I’d say 3-4 weeks on one pod. I keep the pod in my shirt pocket all day everyday and have never had it leak once.. at DashVapes if there’s a flavor you like they can make it a salt nic in less than a few minutes.. I’ve smoked for about 12 years prior to vaping and I’m at about 30 to 35% nic salt and that usually satisfies my craving without a strong throat hit but flavors and % would be really dependent on your use and likes and dislikes.. but I’d highly recommend this mod and DashVapes.. the staff here in Vaughan Ontario is awesome and I’m sure they are at other locations as well.. best of luck..!!

The Calliburn is prob my 4th vape and my favourite by far. If u are an avid smoker you may not have to change the cartridge for about 2 or 3 weeks. You’ll know when you have to change cuz it’ll start to loose flavour and/or taste burnt. I’ve had problems in the past with juice leaking but this one is amazing, a guy at the store told me that it has a vacuum like function and will suck the juice back in when u take a hit, if you’re going to put it in ur pocket as long as u don’t put it in facing down you should be fine. My almost never leaks. The Calliburn works really good without salt nic and still gives a really nice throat hit. Right now I’m using 12mg of regular nic and it gives me a nice hit but since ur a smoker I recommend going higher maybe for salt nic 12mg could work

Hey there! There should be no issue if you use regular nicotine juice, that's more of a personal preference. I'm currently using this with an 80vg/20pg mix juice with salt nic, but I've also tried it out with regular nicotine. The nicotine has no bearing on how the device performs in a technical sense. But if you're looking for a more satisfying throat hit, and looking for a more satisfying nicotine intake then I would recommend salt nic. Talk to the guys at Dash Vapes I'm sure they'll be able to cover all the bases for you. Either way if this is going to be your first pod system, or even if it's not, I would highly recommend it. Amazing battery life, great coil life, and HUGE flavour.

After a few weeks of use...
Now that I have had this mod for a few weeks, I am ready to give it a proper review. At first everything was fine, but now that I've had it for a few weeks, I have noticed that the second pod is leaking (I used 2 pods, to hold 2 different flavours for me to choose from). Not only that, but the auto aspiration had stopped functioning (which sucks, as I don't always want to press the button). It's fine for it's purpose, which is an easy, no headache, vape session; but if you want something that can last longer, has great taste and doesn't have the chance of leaking with no self repair available, this is not for you. P-S. Of course, I am aware that there are replacement mods, but the thing is still made cheaply. My next buy will be a proper mod, not a pod system. I hope this review helps.

Best small pod system.
Trust me. I’ve tried them all. You can beat this device. Only thing I would change is to take away the button. I bunt out a cartridge yesterday in my purse because I didn’t realize I hadn’t turned it off.

Great flavour
The vape itself is pretty light and feels cheap but that’s the only downside for me so far. Perfect for DTL. I was so impressed with the flavour profile. Totally blew me away. My fourth pod system and nothing came close to how good my juice tastes in this thing. Feels like I hit the jackpot.

So far that's the best I used
Great vapor production and great taste, For the last 3 months I used 5 coils for different juice only one die and even this one because of dry hit. The only thing that they can improve is larger pods, it's just need to be refill twice a day at least very annoying

Good replacement for single use
I was using stlth vap for a while but felt i was getting more addicted with the high nicotine dose in each capsule, and I felt horrible with all the waist it created. Glad I found this vape to reduce my nicotine % and create less waist. Love the dual vap option, with or without the bouton that give an extra hit.

The search for the perfect pod vape system is over. This little thing does it all. I love the size. I love the draw/button activation. Most of all I love the flavour this system produces. It is so easy to use. Filling the pods is simple just take off the drip tip and fill it up. I am still on the first pod and it is going on 3 days strong. I cannot wait to see how long it will last for as from the other reviews the pods seem to last a lot longer than other pods. There has been no leaking what so ever. The battery holds up really well. I wish I purchased this vape a long time ago.

DashVapes offers an extended 90-day warranty on some items (specifically starter kits and mods). The 90-day extended warranty extends your existing 30-day warranty that comes with the purchase to 90 days. The price for the extended warranty is always $5.00.

You can add the Extended Warranty to your purchase when you add an item to your shopping cart.

You may purchase the additional warranty on your device within 7 days of your purchase.

The extended warranty prolongs your warranty period from 30 to 90 days. It does not alter what is covered by the warranty.

Every package that we ship utilizes Canada Post's Age Verification service. This means that in order for Canada Post to hand over the package, you must verify that you are of legal smoking age in your province or state. (If you are in Canada and choose UPS, UPS requires you to be 19 regardless of where you order from). If Canada Post cannot verify your age, they will ship the items back to us. Once the items return, final sale items (as outlined below) are non-refundable. Any items that are eligible for a refund will be done so minus a FIFTY PERCENT (50%) restocking fee, as well as any shipping charges incurred for shipping the items to you, and for Canada Post to ship them back to us. This is absolutely non-negotiable. If you are underage, please do not order items, you will lose money doing so.

Si nous faisons une erreur lors de l‘envoi, svp contacter le service à la clientèle dans un délai de 48 h après la réception du colis afin d‘effectuer la réclamation. Un simple courriel à sales@dashvapes.com nous avisant de l‘erreur est la meilleure façon d‘effectuer la réclamation. Nous nous assurons de corriger toute erreur dès que possible et nous nous excusons des inconvénients.

Les articles non conformes doivent nous être retournés. Nous vous fournissons une étiquette de retour prépayée par courriel pour nous renvoyer les produits sans frais. SI nous ne recevons pas les articles dans un délai de 30 jours, nous nous réservons le droit de vous charger le prix d‘origine en entier à l‘aide du mode de paiement utilisé lors votre l‘achat.
Échanges des produits
Les articles défectueux à l‘arrivée ou encore sous garantie sont admissibles pour un échange seulement. Nous échangerons l‘article avec un article identique de la même couleur. Des exceptions peuvent s‘appliquer si l‘article n‘est plus disponible en stock.

Remboursements et crédits
Nous ne pouvons pas rembourser à l‘aide d‘autres modes de paiement que ceux utilisés lors de l‘achat.

Nous ne pouvons pas rembourser par l‘intermédiaire d‘un Virement Interac, argent comptant ou chèque. Si votre achat a été fait par Virement Interac, en argent comptant ou par chèque, vous recevrez un crédit.

Nous effectuons les remboursements dans un délai de sept jours ouvrables après avoir reçu et inspecté la marchandise retournée. Vous recevrez un avis par courriel confirmant votre remboursement.

Chez DashVapes nous proposons à nos clients plusieurs options pour l‘expédition. Le moyen d‘expédition que vous choisissez n‘affecte pas la rapidité de passation ni de traitement de votre commande. Dans certains cas, le traitement et l‘expédition de votre commande peut prendre jusqu‘à trois jours. Nos emballages sont discrets pour votre sécurité. Les commandes qui ne sont pas disponibles seront expédiées dès qu‘elles seront en stock.

Nous proposons diverses options d‘expédition de Poste Canada dans le monde entier. Les frais d‘expédition sont calculés sur la page de paiement final. Les options disponibles au Canada sont « Expedited » Poste Canada et « XpressPost » Poste Canada. Un devis de livraison sera affiché sur la page de paiement final.
Preuve d‘âge requise
Nous avons recours à l‘option preuve d‘âge (plus de 19 ans) de Poste Canada pour chaque colis, sans exceptions. Parce que nous avons recours à cette option pour toutes nos expéditions, une signature sera demandée au moment de la livraison des envois. Si vous n‘êtes pas chez vous lors de la tentative de livraison, le colis sera déposé dans le bureau de poste le plus proche de chez vous, où vous devrez prouver votre majorité et signer pour le retirer.

Tous les frais engendrés par les colis réexpédiés à l‘envoyeur par impossibilité de prouver la majorité ne seront PAS remboursés.

Suivi
Des numéros de suivi sont générés automatiquement quand nous imprimons votre étiquette d‘expédition lors du traitement de la commande. Un courriel contenant le numéro de suivi avec le sujet « Votre commande a été expédiée! » est alors envoyée à l‘adresse courriel que vous avez fournie lors du paiement final.

S‘il vous plaît consulter votre dossier « pourriels » si vous ne recevez pas votre numéro de suivi.

Insurance
Every package shipped by DashVapes is insured up to $100.00 on tracked packages only. If your order is larger than $100, and you'd like to add full insurance coverage to your package, you can do so at the checkout page. In the event that Canada Post or UPS lose a package, we will only credit orders up to $100.00 if they do not have full insurance.

US and International non-tracked items do not have insurance, and will not be replaced in the event of loss.
Orders outside of Canada
